Meteora, Undiscovered Greece

The entire experience was flawless from pick up, transport to Meteora to the actual tour. The accommodations were beautiful and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The views on the bike ride cannot be described with words or pictures. Meteora is a MUST see!

San Snova Multi-Adventure Tour from Trogir
Croatia

We had a sewer odor in our cabin and the crew had a tendency to leave the door open for the dining room, even though it was 96° outside. They wanted fresh air, even though it was hot air!

For me the highlight was zip lining above the canopy. It was so beautiful I forgot to be scared! I was worried about being “on our own” without a guide physically present but the tour operator answered any questions we had via What’s App promptly and thoroughly at any time of day and everything went so smoothly. Drivers were there right on time with a smile to get us from one activity to another. The hotels were uniquely Costa Rican with bright tropical decor and landscaping and located walking distance from shops and restaurants. And there was always lots of pineapple and plantains.

The best part of the Costa Rica trip for me was the visit to the Sloth Sanctuary and the zip line adventure.

Prompt and timely transfers. We were impressed that each of our pick-ups from our various events were on time and efficient.
Improvement suggestions: After viewing some of the other lodging options (as our shuttle dropped off other travelers), I would have preferred the option to upgrade one or two of our hotels in the planning stage (granted, it would have cost a bit more). No pool & no close restaurants on our third hotel was unfortunate (we had some down-time which a pool would have been appreciated). We didn't have time after the white-water rafting to view and purchase photos before we were hustled out for the long bus ride to Avernal. Although adequate, I would have preferred actually visiting one of the two Cloud Forest Reserves vs an abbreviated hike around the 100% Adventure property. It's a long way to go to not see the actual Cloud Forest Reserve.

The perfect balance of active and relaxing. This trip was Pura Vida in travel form. The adventures weren't too excessive. And the hikes weren't too strenuous. I'm 50 and my wife is 45. We're not exceptional athletes or anything. And we found the activities to be just perfect. The only mildly negative I can think of is there is a fair amount of time in transport. I enjoyed the down time and the scenery, but I could see some people getting bored. So take a book. And the length of the trip was perfect for a quick winter get away.

Panagiota Multi-Adventure Tour in the Ionian Islands
Greece

The booking proces, support and information shared before from Tripsite was very helpful. It was the anticipation, it was the excitement, it was the ease of organising and it was the simplicity of planning.
The boat & bike trip was absolute amazing. We enjoyed every minute of it. When we booked the trip we thought the accommodation might be too small or too uncomfortable, but that was not true. We have had the best experience ever…the opportunity to sleep outside under the stars and wake up every morning looking a the most beautiful sun rises. The boat was cosy, very relaxing and the crew spoiled us with delicious dinners, sight seeing, comfort and relax time. The sailing crew was amazing and knew the best swim stop locations and harbours to dock the boat. During the bikes tours we have seen real beautiful Greece, combined with inspiring tours.
This great family holiday adventure provided us happiness and high Holiday spirits. We hope we can book many more inspiring & relaxing boat & bikes trips soon.
Thank you for this great experience, we highly appreciated your support and the great support from the crew.
Best holiday experience ever!

  Gåssten Norwegian Fjords
Norway

We stepped aboard the beautiful Gassten with her wooden hull and spacious decks and were greeted by our Skipper Jamie and his mates Nick And Gunnar along with chef Dunkin , champagne set out waiting on deck with tasty bites . Bon Voyage out of Henningsvaer, a bustling fishing village that boasts the remote football field and plenty little shops to grab your Norway woolies . We woke everyday to the smell of breakfast and views so breathtaking you would find yourself just staring into the majestic fjords with their cascading mountains and rippling water gently slapping the hull. This boat is so sturdy I slept like a baby in the well appointed cabins with private bathroom for each , a must for our group of ten. They don’t skimp with fluffy bath robes and full line of toiletries and local cream available. Our skipper carefully laid out each day fulfilling our every need and ensuring all our adventures left us laughing and story telling around the dinner table at night , wine In hand Read More

Multi-adventure on Madeira Island
Portugal

The guides were wonderful. They had local information and history to share with us, laughed at our misadventures and were extremely supportive as we hiked, rode bikes and just viewed the scenery. Miguel was there every step of the tour as our contact person. Marco was wonderful and had great suggestion for dinners around the island. Joesphina had the local history down and could personalize it to make the country come alive.

Multi-Adventure in Colombia - From the Mountains to the Sea
Colombia

Bogota, Kartagena and Amazon were for me the highlights of my trip. Depends mostly on my previous visits to South America and the expectations I had . Visit to Rio Blanco not worthy. Tayrona park only if make the long circuit otherwise very crowded and sea visit definitely not ( speaking as a Greek ). Bicycling at the area of Filandia and visit of wax Palm area a great fun . Minca and the bird watching at the area not so interesting. Local office very helpful and professional in every detail !! Guides in all the places we visited educated in depth for their specialty !!

Norway Hike & Bike
Norway

Hiking and biking sognefjord was the perfect way to experience this extraordinary part of Norway. And just the right amount a physical challenge for us. The combination of hotels from luxury to boutique kept things interesting and the food was top notch everywhere. And our guide was one of the best we have ever had. It was the perfect trip for a life time experience.

Meteora, Undiscovered Greece
Greece

Meteora tours and the tour operators. They really went out of their way to make this a good experience for me. Ditat and Spiros at the Monastiri hotel made me really feel at home. They helped me navigate the COVID testing. They were the most involved hotel operators I've ever met. Meteora e-bike was amazing. Two really good bike tours around the area, right at my skill level. The food and wine tour was not just food and wine, there was a lot of area background with it including a tour of a restored hermit cave. I would do this trip again. Most people do a 1 day tour from Athens and really miss a lot. Four days was just right. Highly recommend staying longer.

Merlijn Merlijn’s Magical Christmas Cruise in Germany

Our tour on the Merlijn was a wonderful trip, a great way to get in the Christmas spirit! My favorite part was relaxing on the boat and the delicious meals prepared by our hosts, and visiting all the Christmas markets in the cities along the way.

Merlijn’s Magical Christmas Cruise in Germany
Germany

What a trip! I felt like it was meant to be since we had just started talking about going on a Xmas market trip just before the email came announcing this maiden voyage. Every stop was memorable. Landschaftspark and getting to see the industrial side of the Rhine was an added bonus to the beautiful Xmas markets. We didn't think we'd want to spend too much time outside while the boat was cruising, but we even had some comfortable cruising time outside. The crew and the other passengers made the trip though. What a great bunch!

Merlijn Merlijn’s Magical Christmas Cruise in Germany
Germany

Christmas Tour was a wonderful experience. The boat was beautiful, the beds were super comfortable, the rooms were spotless, the food was the best I have ever had on a barge trip, and the crew were all sweet, helpful and fun. As is typical on a trip like this, all the travelers became friends and we became quite fond of each other in just four days. Sad to leave but made for such a lovely time.
I thought the cadence of the trip was vey nice and I enjoyed the tours. The tour in Dortmund wasn't overly exciting but perhaps there was just not that much to say about the area we were in. I did think it was valuable though because we needed to know where to go to see the markets, etc.
I really liked Munster, I wish we could have had more time there. Maybe plan to arrive earlier and have a few more hours before Captain's dinner?
Our captain took very good care of us, we felt safe and in good hands.

Princess Diana Multi-Adventure Tour from Trogir
Croatia

The Multi-Adventure tour was amazing.Everything from our arrival to departure was very well organized.
The Princess Diana ship that we were on was spectacular with comfy large cabins & the food that came out of the small kitchen was unbelievable.
Every day there were options of things to do so it kept everyone as busy or as relaxed as they wanted to be.
The cycling through vineyards to a beach for a swim was one of our favourite days but we also liked the option to go for a walk explore the towns after dinner.

Bike & Hike Jordan
Jordan

Jordan should be on everyone's biking radar. The combination of on and off road with challenging climbs and spectacular descents is as good as it gets. Our guide on this trip, Anas, could not have been better; at times cheerleader, bike mechanic, teacher and first aid provider, he was always friendly and willing to share his culture and his perspective on his wonderful country. The opportunity to spend a day and a half at Petra and the jeep tour through Wadi Rum gave us the a greater understanding of history and appreciation for the beauty of Jordan.

Princess Diana Multi-Adventure Tour from Trogir

I LOVED this trip! My only suggestion would be rather than sitting in Jelsa waiting for the boat to arrive, we could have ridden to the next town and back. I noticed on the map Jelsa was about half way to the next town but our group could have easily handled it (which may be why we had so much time in Jelsa waiting for the boat).

It was a great trip. The boat was beautiful and the food was excellent. The only disappointment was that there was very little cycling. On some days the only "activity" was swimming, which was enjoyable, but not the amount of exercise we were hoping for. That said, we would highly recommend the trip to friends.

Our third Tripsite bike/boat tour, this Multi-Adventure Tour beginning in Trogir was fantastic - as we've come to expect from Tripsite! The Princess Diana was a lovely ship with great food and wonderful staff. Where will our next adventures take us? Who knows but it is definitely on our radar.
