Translating to "Love of Friesland," this extraordinary ship honors the deep pride and heritage of the Frisian people. Remodeled In the winter of 2023-24, the ship underwent a stunning transformation, with a 14-meter extension added to enhance its grandeur. A fourth mast was installed, making it the only four-masted schooner in Dutch waters. The upper deck features four charming suites, each with plush hotel-style double beds, sitting area, and TV. Double glass doors lead to a private balcony, offering sweeping views.
All cabins and suites come with en-suite bathrooms equipped with a shower, toilet, and sink, along with air conditioning, a hairdryer, a mini safe, and a 230-Volt socket. Each cabin also has portholes or a hatch that can be opened, allowing in natural light and fresh air.

*NOTE: E-bikes feature a small electrical engine and battery that assist and ease your pedaling but you still have to pedal yourself. While riding an e-bike can greatly contribute to the enjoyment of your trip, it is not intended for untrained cyclists as it is not easy to handle such a bike. The engine and battery make the bike much heavier than a regular bike and it also accelerates faster. Handling it well requires good basic cycling skills and confidence. You can bring your own electric bike (space is limited). Please note that there will be a small fee for the charging station and the crew or tour operators are NOT responsible for any damage, loss, or theft.
Other bikes (e.g. bikes with back pedal brakes, children’s bikes, “slip streamers”, tandems, etc.) and child seats (rear) may be possible upon request and are in very limited numbers.
