Overview
Indulge in a premium cellar door wine tasting at the celebrated St Hugo, accompanied by a sumptuous lunch and sensationally stylish helicopter flight.
Take in the tranquil beauty of the verdant Hoffnungsthal Valley as you soar over the elegant landscapes towards Rowland Flat. Here, Pernod Ricard, St Hugo, and Jacob’s Creek wines are all produced from grapes grown in the glorious Australian sunshine.
You’ll land elegantly outside St Hugo, where staff will greet you and guide you through a cellar door wine tasting guaranteed to delight and impress. You’ll sample St Hugo’s premium wine range, savoring the rich, complex flavors of the products and reveling in the incredible atmosphere of this famous establishment.
After your taste buds have been thoroughly treated at the cellar door, you’ll settle in for a sumptuous 2-course lunch enjoyed at a table offering stunning views of the verdant valley. Naturally, your dining experience will be complemented by a gorgeous glass of St Hugo wine.
Fully satisfied, you’ll say goodbye to the staff at St Hugo and reboard your helicopter. This scenic tour is sure to expand your capacity for wonder as you witness the sensational beauty of the Barossa Goldfields and Whispering Wall before catching the reflection of the helicopter in the South Para Reservoirs. -
Maximum individual weight is 130kg.
-
Combined maximum passenger weight is 270kg per flight.
- Please inform us at the time of booking of ALL accurate passenger weights.
Height restrictions:
Children must be over 100cm tall to fly. A child must be able to sit independently on their own seat. Children are not allowed to sit on laps.
Flying while pregnant:
The decision to fly at any stage of pregnancy is entirely up to the individual. There are no pressure changes or manoeuvres that could cause discomfort.
Health conditions or impairments:
- Please let us know prior to booking if adjustments will need to be made. Each person is different, and most disabilities can be catered to with prior notice.
- A golf buggy is available to assist people with walking difficulties out to the helicopter.
- The door to the helicopter can be removed to help people with limited mobility enter the helicopter.
Motion sickness:
This is a scenic tour, not a thrill ride. Most people do not experience motion sickness. The flight is smooth, and turns are slow and gentle. We recommend that if you are prone to motion sickness, that you do not use your camera or phone - looking at these screens can create distorted vision, which can cause motion sickness. If you are particularly prone to motion sickness, anti-motion sickness medication is a good idea.
