This deluxe discovery takes in the full beauty of the Barossa and Hoffnungsthal valleys, providing a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that’ll linger in the memory for decades to come.
Lifting off from the peaceful Hoffnungsthal Valley, you’ll make your way over magnificent Australian landscapes towards Lyndoch, a charming township, before your helicopter soars over the remarkable western ridge of the Barossa Valley, providing unbeatable views.
Behold the extraordinary beauty of the Barossa Valley from the best possible vantage point as you witness the ever-changing tapestry of vineyards, hills, and palm trees unfurling beneath you. You’ll soar over several famous wine making establishments, including the historic Seppeltsfield Winery, Maggie Beer’s farm, and Penfold’s Winery.
Now nearing the eastern side of Nuriootpa, you’ll gaze in wonder at the Wolf Blass Winery before an impressive limestone quarry looms into view towards Angaston. From above the town, enjoy an unforgettable vista as the Barossa Valley stretches seemingly indefinitely into the distance. As your tour continues, you’ll be treated to a bird’s eye view of one of South Australia’s most celebrated horse racing studs.
Your deluxe helicopter tour takes you onwards, descending into the magnificent valley towards Tanunda, where you’ll catch sight of the exquisite Chateau Tanunda and the settlement of Bethany. Next, you’ll fly over the phenomenal Rowland Flat, home to the famous Jacob’s Creek winery, where you’ll be able to spot some of the largest wine tanks in the country, holding up to 1.4 million liters!
Soaring over the southern Barossa Valley, you’ll behold the breathtaking Barossa Goldfields and the wondrous natural splendor of the Whispering Wall (holding back the remarkable Barossa Reservoir). Finally, you’ll be returned in terrific style to the tranquil Hoffnungsthal Valley, having seen the very best of the Barossa Valley from the ultimate viewpoint.

This is a scenic tour, not a thrill ride. Most people do not experience motion sickness. The flight is smooth, and turns are slow and gentle. If you are particularly prone to motion sickness, anti-motion sickness medication is a good idea.
