Extra Info
Skill Level — Easy–Moderate
This is a 7-day self-guided tour that provides 2 or 3 options everyday to let you choose your daily route. Average daily distance is approximately 50 km.
Airport Info
Most convenient arrival airport in terms of transfer logistics is Bastia Airport and for departure airport, Calvi.
Local Travel
Airport transfer from Bastia to your first hotel is included in your tour price. Departure transfers are not included unless you have booked the luxury option and are departing from Calvi. Otherwise, there is a small supplement. See pricing. If departure is from Bastia, distance is 2 - 3 hours of driving and public transportation would not really be an option. See pricing for more information
Climate
Please check local conditions before your arrival. The island enjoys superb summer temperatures with some of the highest sunshine records in France, with an average of 2,793 hours per year. The typical Mediterranean climate applies only to the seaside and the low altitude zones in Corsica. For the mountainous part of the island, which is most of the inland area, bear in mind that the altitude changes the climate.
