Tour Specialist

Born and bred in South Africa, Claudia has an extensive background in travel and the natural sciences. Even though she grew up in the city, she has always gravitated towards the outdoors and exploring wild places. She is a ‘bush chick’ at heart and will take every opportunity to get outside for a hike, go camping in nature or visit a game reserve. Her career has taken her to several African and European countries guiding safaris, working in conservation and planning tours for clients. Her passion for travel motivates her to share her experiences with others, and in turn, help them to fulfill their travel dreams.

You will often find her behind the lens of a camera capturing wildlife, people and food - her other passion in life. She can spend hours waiting for the right moment for a bird to take flight or for the perfect light to illuminate an incredible scene. Her love affair with food and eating often takes precedence over photography, as she cooks up a storm in the kitchen or goes in search of the next best foodie joint.

Once a year she makes a point of reading at least one good book, trying her hand at something new and watching a comedy show for a good laugh.
