What a fabulous time we had! We could not have asked for a better trip with the best guides in all of Croatia. Alan and Dora were the best. They packed our trip with such great experiences, we could not be more pleased. Thank you!

  Quo Vadis Merzig to Cochem
Germany

The bike and barge along the Saar and Mosel (or Moselle) rivers is undoubtedly the most underrated journey in Europe. The biking was easy (I'm over 65, fit but no athlete, and used a regular bike) and would be a glide on an electric bike. The scenery and towns are wonderful, vineyards lining the hillsides and mostly small, charming towns. The biggest cities on the route, Trier and Cochem, are great spots to spend a day. A giant bonus were the crew and guides on the Quo Vadis- top notch all the way. A tip for future travelers- choose the route that ends in Cochem- it's all downhill!

  Magnifique IV Amsterdam to Bruges
Netherlands, Belgium

The whole trip was amazing!! But the one thing that sticks out is when we we stopped at the Canadian war cemetery…. And after touring around… Peter our guide stood proud in front of us and read the Poem “Flanders Field”. It brought tears to most of eyes.
Tips& suggestions… please make sure you know how to ride a bike! Being a bike tour… this is very important, as our tour guides did have to make the decision to have one couple stay back as they were not confident on the bikes. It is an easy ride but we did ride in towns and over cobble stone road ways. But they had to make that decision for the safety for them and others and I know it was a hard decision, but for that we thank them.

This trip was an amazing experience. The boat and crew were more than helpful; they were interesting and enjoyable. When sailing, the weather is a huge factor and when we were unable to sail, they found other interesting things for us to do. The rooms were clean and the food was extraordinarily good. We had wind and rain and sunshine, and as the tour was self-guided, we could bike at our own pace. Our fellow travelers were also a huge part of our fun. Thanks to all.

Harmonia Highlights of Dalmatia E-Bike & Boat
Croatia

Oh the harmony on Harmonia! Our guides Kresho and Mirta were exceptional. Their knowledge and love of their country was passed on to us in so many beautiful places. The cultural experiences and stunning views will give us lasting memories.
Although many of us were avid road cyclers we all chose to get e-bikes, and so glad we did. We had 16 couples aboard the Harmonia, mostly from our hometown. The boat never felt crowded. The staff were friendly and courteous. The only things that could be improved on are; availability of coffee in the morning for early risers, having a corking fee for liquor and wine brought on board, an additional towel change. All in all, this trip was one for the books. We absolutely loved it and would do it again if we didn’t have more places to explore.

Harmonia Highlights of Dalmatia E-Bike & Boat
Croatia

There are many tour opportunities in this beautiful country to pick from but I think the island bike rides were amazing. The best part of our adventure was the fact we had two very good and knowledgeable guides who know the area and the history of their country. Would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see more in a day touring through the country side.

It was an amazing trip, only issue was getting an e-bike as a tall person. I was able to get one from a local bike shop in town who were great, but if It was something that caused a little more work on my part and considerable worry that it would be there.

Riding an E-Bike for the first time was super comfortable. Easy to operate and the 'Ride with GPS' made it simple and slick to cruise the Holland countryside. Also very much enjoyed the boat rides through the canals...

What a wonderful trip! This was our 4th bike and boat trip and our favourite. The accommodations on the boat are excellent and the cycling route was great. The stop in Budapest was a highlight for me for sure!

  Quo Vadis Merzig to Cochem
Germany

Biking through the vineyards and small villages of the Mosel with the opportunity to stop for a coffee or pictures of this unique area made the trip memorable and unique. Also, the camaraderie of the staff of the Quo Vadis and their desire to ensure that all the guests were content.

Internet sucks. Needs to be available throughout the ship, not just in the bar. Also we were not told how to use our electric bikes. And some parts of the bike route were hazardous, e.g., loose gravel, fast auro traffic. 3 of 4 of our group wiped out at least once.

Trip was great! Loved only having 24 on the boat; we knew everyone well by the end of the trip. Food was fabulous. Only suggestion for the tour guides would be to try to have the passengers back to the boat by around 4:30 every day, so the guests have time to shower and socialize over happy hour before dinner. Too bad the Quo Vadis will no longer be operating. They really did it well!!

  Allure Koblenz to Merzig
Germany

Stopping at local towns to sight see and hit a cafe mid-morning and for a glass of wine or beer in the afternoon. Allure barge never made enough food for our group, rarely made stops while biking at cafe’s or towns for coffee or drinks in the mornings or afternoons. Felt rushed to get from point A to B and not enjoying the ride.

The only thing keeping this trip from 5 stars is the boat we were on. The Allure was disappointing.

Everything was amazing. Great trip. If you need to rent a bike in Passau for taller ebike riders the shops in passau are great.

The scope of the vineyards in the river valley. The manual biked were absurdly heavy and improperly geared for the route

We had a spectacular trip! The Quo Vadis was such a comfortable and welcoming home. Our guides were outstanding; our chef, captain, servers/boat assists couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly. Food was fantastic. Most of all, our fellow bikers were so much fun and added so many lasting memories to our biking holiday!

Good trip. I knew of 2 people who complained of having a "cold" toward the end of the tour. 3 days after returning home I tested positive for covid having minor symptoms. Not the fault of Tripsite but I think you should be aware.

The scenery along the Danube River was just spectacular. The little villages along the way were so beautiful to photograph. Traveling on the Merlijn is like being in a 5 star hotel. The ship is just beautiful and the food is downright amazing and delicious. The crew members are like your family. Love the Merlijn!

Fabulous bike trip! Everyday we received a very thorough briefing including a map for our daily ride. Leslie took great care of us along with the rest of the crew! Bring a Tupperware dish to make a salad in for the lunch that you can make to take on your ride. The lunch bag will come with the bike.

  Panagiota Ionian Islands
Greece

First day we cruised to Paxos and coming into an island we came up a pod of dolphins. The crew started making calls to them and banging of the boat's railings. The dolphins put a good show for us. It was magically. The biking was hard, but the views were BEAUTIFUL! and with an E bike it was very doable. I applaud the die-hard riders who did it without any E! The Ionian Sea is so Gorgeous, Calm and peaceful. The swim stops where beyond my expectations. And the ports were charming and romantic. The sunsets amazing! The food was incredible on the boat, we had a very good chef! Our tour guides were the best!!! The crew was very attentive and accommodating. Honestly this was the best bike and boat tour we have been on. This was our 4th one!

The best parts were the scenic rides on the first and last day. The ride through wine country was particularly beautiful . I also loved the day in Budapest.
People definitely need to train for the biking part. Although not difficult , time on the seat is important. I would highly recommend bringing a gel seat cover.

The scenery through which we biked. The landscape was ever-changing. It was flat which made for easy biking.
The route was beautifully labelled, which removed all stress of getting lost. It was also away from busy car routes.
